A question which is often asked is what email settings should I use.

There are two ways of setting up email accounts, the first option is IMAP, which is commonly used if email is going to be read across multiple devices, for example a mobile device and a laptop. In this case the email stays on the server until it is deleted. When using IMAP mail it is important to regularly archive your email, and delete what is not required so that you do not run out of space on the email server. The second method is to load your email as POP3, this method download email from the server to the computer and deletes it from the server. You have been allocated space of 500Mb on the server which is sufficient for most people, however should you run out of space the server will notify you and you do have the option to upgrade your account, or alternatively clean up your mail boxes, by continued deleted items folders and filing items that are no longer required in your archive folders on your own PC.
